VAU Ride: Electric Moped Sharing for Tourists in Europe
Electric mopeds + tourists = an untapped niche in a €12B market
The electric moped sharing market in Europe is growing at 15-20% annually — Cooltra, Acciona, Cityscoot serve dozens of cities. But they all target urban residents. 750 million tourists who visit Europe every year remain unserved. Urban scooter sharing (Bird, Tier, Voi) doesn't work for them — an unprofitable model with a €3-5 average ticket.
VAU Ride has claimed this niche. We created a hybrid electric moped sharing service for tourists with fundamentally different economics: average ticket €35 (7-10x higher than urban), average ride 2 hours, battery charging once every 3-6 days instead of daily, zero CAC through hotel partnerships. The model has been validated on Lake Garda and is ready to scale across Europe.

Numbers, model, market, and investment proposal
Garda — proof of concept, Europe — the market
We started on Lake Garda (18 million tourists per season, one of Europe's top destinations) and proved the model. But this is just the launchpad. Dozens of similar locations across Europe — Como, Sardinia, Amalfi, the French Riviera, the Balearics, Greek islands — share the same profile: high-value tourists, mobility needs, and no electric moped sharing.
A proven model with real traction
This is not theory — it's a working business. On Garda, we've already served hundreds of clients, generated organic demand that exceeded our supply capacity, and built a partner network of 40+ hotels. The hybrid model (sharing + hourly and daily packages) transforms the operational chaos of urban sharing into a manageable business with predictable economics.
Investment ask: €10,000,000
We are looking for a strategic investor to scale the proven model across Europe: a fleet of 500+ electric mopeds, 10+ locations in Italy, France, Greece, Croatia, team building, and an international brand. The goal is to become the first and largest electric moped sharing network for tourists in Europe.
